OOPA! is a free instant messenger designed for gamers. Using it, teams can communicate through microphones and speakers (or headphones) - this way, they can coordinate their actions in games like Counter Strike (or any other FPS) and MMORPGs. Every user can create a group, and invite their friends to join that group, Each one of the users will be able to comunicate with all the other users from the same group. For that, they will need to obtain a free account, supplying a user name and a password. Once done, they can join an existing channel, or create a new one.
The program´s interface is very similar to Windows Live Messenger and other instant messengers. The users can personify themselves by uploading a photo, and they can provide a short phrase under their username to introduce themselves. It is possible to choose the status used upon the program startup (Online, Leave, Offline), set the program to start when Windows starts, configure the messages that will pop-up when a user logs in, joins or leaves a channel.
